The Patented BRV® Mechanism
What is the BRV® Mechanism?
AMTC’s BRV® mechanism is a unique and
simple triggering mechanism that consists
of a motor and a ball valve.
How does it work?
A sensor gives the signal to the motor
causing a rotating shaft to trigger the ball
valve. The ball valve is then tilted, causing
the seal to open and initiating a flush cycle
on a sensor flush valve, or a water flow
cycle on a sensor faucet.

How reliable is it?
The BRV® mechanism replaces the
traditional electromagnetic solenoid
mechanism used in most competitor
systems. The BRV® mechanism does not
use any electromagnetic components
resulting in less wear and tear and longer
life, particularly in harsh water
environments.
The BRV® mechanism has been
successfully tested to over 5 million cycles
and includes a five (5) year limited
warranty.
